Amidst Lockdown, Nine Jesuit Brothers Profess First Vows

Belagavi: Nine Jesuit novices professed their first vows on Sunday in Belagavi at a simple religious ceremony that was held the Xavier Training Centre (XTC), Desur about 15 kms from Belagavi. Rector of St Paul’s High School Senior Jesuit priest Fr Ronnie D’souza administered the vows and presided over the Eucharistic services, concelebrated by rector of the ceremony and novice master Fr Anil Sequeira and Fr Savio Baretto.

Novices comprising of brothers Joswalt, Cajetan, Swapnil, Noel belonging to Goa province, Brother Joel Ashley and Rohan Belonging to Mumbai province , Brother Vishal from Pune and Brother Pradip from Gujarat province professed their first vows.

Delighted after professing the vows the brothers exclaimed that over the period of two years of training through various experiments as they experienced God’s faithfulness, they got to know themselves more closely and develop a deep relationship with Jesus Christ.
