In today’s gospel, Jesus healed a woman who had been paralysed, unable to move for 18 years. She was healed of her illness because Jesus felt compassion for her.
We are invited to have the fullness of life in Christ. The healing experienced by the woman led her to the fullness of life in Christ. It is in spiritual and physical healing that God allows us to be free from sin. One’s life must be lived fully in Christ and for Christ.
After reading the Gospel, the question that came to my mind are, “Are there healing moments in my life? How can I experience the fullness of Christ in my life?
After a long introspection, I realised that every moment of my life is a healing experience in my life. When I allow Jesus to enter my life and work in me, I can surely experience the fullness of Christ, and then I can, in turn, guide others to experience the fullness of Christ.
Today our prayer to God is to heal us. And since nothing is impossible for Jesus, he always makes a way for us when there seems to be no way. Lord, come into our lives and work in us.
