The Trinitarian family is the greatest gift to the world. The gospel of the day testifies that they live only for the people. The Bible says that God, Son and Spirit have come into the earth at various times and people have witnessed their works and presence. Their presence was evident for the world at the baptism of Jesus. Many verses in the bible quote their relationship and uniqueness. We are formed for God’s family.
They remind us to make our families ‘happy homes’. They identify themselves using family terms: father and son. You and I as their best creation have the same responsibility of father, mother, son and daughter to help each other.
No family on earth wishes to degrade its distinctive quality. As a religious I work hard in all possible ways to maintain the name and fame of my congregation and its family spirit. The prominence it holds today is not achieved by me. It was given by a band of men who were sent as missionaries to various parts of the world to proclaim the gospel.
The Trinitarian family cares for all, orphans, abandoned, elderly parents and differently abled people. They pour grace upon all: the family that lives at the platform, the family who regularly goes for the church or the family of a prostitute. The feast of Holy Trinity teaches the truth that it cares for all irrespective our life situations and weaknesses. May I be a channel to spread this truth.
