The gospel reading of the day well explains the mission that Christians are called to do. Jesus speaks of his ministry and the spirit that the Lord gives him to do his mission. We too are called to have the same spirit of Jesus to proclaim his word and to do good. All of us are sent with a purpose on this earth.
All of us are called to be sensitive to the needs of others. In our daily lives we come across so many people who do not have anyone to depend on and those who don’t get enough food to eat, and those who are still at the debt of what they have received long ago.
Today Jesus invites us to be especially with these people and helping them to feel that God is love and each human being is an instrument to channelize God’s love.
