Today, the universal Catholic Church celebrates the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The life of Mary teaches us to be dependent always on God’s will in all situations. Life offers both joys and sorrows, but we need to trust in the divine providence and go ahead in life. If we closely observe the life of Mother Mary, we learn that she never went against God’s will, even during times of suffering. She submitted herself to the will of God.
Whatever might have taken place in her life, she kept them in her heart and never complained to God. From the time of labour pain to Mount Calvary, she remained faithful to God’s will. She praised God for choosing her to be the mother of the Son of God. She was not afraid of what the world would speak of her if she conceived before marriage.
She knew that it was the will of God, and he would took care of everything. Mother Mary stands an example for us to trust in God’s will and go ahead in life with complete faith in God. As we celebrate the Immaculate Heart of Mary, let us seek her intercession in our life to be firm in faith like her.
Sometimes our faith may waver due to unavoidable problems and sufferings, but they are not permanent in life. What is important is to have complete trust in the divine providence. If we surrender ourselves to the will of God, he takes care of the rest. With this faith, let us move ahead in life and bring glory to the name of God, the Almighty.
