Progetto Arte Poli had organised an exhibition dedicated to Pope Paul VI, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the election of this illustrious Pontiff. The exhibition presented an extraordinary collection of artworks, objects, writings, and photographs that celebrate the life and work of Pope Paul VI. Among the numerous works on display, the plaster bust created by Maestro Albano Poli was also visible, dedicated to this figure so important for the Church and for the entire world.
The inauguration of this extraordinary exhibition, on Saturday 7th October, was a truly significant moment, in the presence of His Eminence Cardinal Mario Grech, together with His Excellency Monsignor Luis Marín De San Martín, respectively general secretary and undersecretary of the Synod of Bishops for the XVI General Assembly.
The exhibition “Paul VI, 60 years after his election” was open to the public from 9 October until 22 December 2023 at Galleria Arte Poli in Borgo Vittorio 88, Rome.
Progetto Arte Poli creates an array of artwork such as artistic stained glass windows, mosaic art, fresco paintings, sculpture, and wrought iron restoration. Each work of art is the result of a skilled master craftsman, artist, designer or technician. Visiting the laboratory is an extraordinary experience, a small journey through time. Here you can discover ancient values that remain unsurpassed in the field of art work. Each work is filled with manual skill, dedication, patience and passion.
Artist Albano Poli founded Progetto Arte Poli after finishing the Art School in Verona. He started making stained glass windows in a small workshop inside a prestigious historical palace in downtown Verona. The business developed quickly thanks to his talent and he integrated the production of stained glass windows with mosaics, frescoes, sculptures, wrought iron works and other materials that are part of the Italian art tradition. Passion, experience, traditional techniques, high-quality materials: this is what characterizes all artworks made in the workshop and generally speaking, this is our Italian heritage.
