Readings: Acts 12:24-13:5a; Jn 12:44-50
The liturgy of the word speaks about the intimate relationship of Jesus with his Father. Jesus says that “whoever believes in me believes not in me but in him who sent me.” So, it is time for us to believe in Christ who represents his Father in human form in the world. Many times, we fail to acknowledge his union with Father.
But as believers of Christ, we need to confirm our faith that we are with Christ and we confess and believe that he is our savior who suffered and died for us on the cross. Believing in Christ is equal to believing in the Father. Jesus is in Father and Father is in Jesus.
Therefore, let us understand the union of Father and Son and believe that they are one in the Spirit and united in one. So let us ask Jesus to forgive for the time we doubted his presence in our lives and fail to proclaim his name to the people around. So it is time to recall our unfaithfulness and turn to him who is merciful and kind to those who turn to him and believe in him and he will protect us from the darkness and will lead us to the light, who himself is the light of the world.
