Prayer Does Not Change God, But it Changes Him Who Prays

By Larissa D’Souza –

The prayer of the righteous man is powerful and effective. Our prayers are answered sometimes without realizing. If the only prayer you say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough. Prayer is the world’s greatest wireless connection. A person may workout everyday to keep their body in shape, but a person of strength kneels in prayer to keep their soul in shape.

Prayer is putting oneself in the hands of God and one of the greatest powers a person can have. The things that you are praying and hoping for tend to arrive at the most unexpected moments. It is a two way conversation between you and God. Sometimes all it takes is just one prayer to change everything. God understands our prayers even when we can’t find the words to say them.

Believe in the power of prayer. If not for yourself, believe it in others. The world is weak, prayer is powerful, and he can do anything. Don’t forget to pray today because God didn’t forget to wake you up this morning. The word of God is the food by which prayer is nourished and made strong. Go where your best prayers take you. Keep praying, but be thankful that God’s answers are wiser than your prayers.

Faith and prayer both are invisible, but they make impossible things possible. Prayers go up and blessing comes down. Prayers are the very highest energy of which the mind is capable of. Prayer is the medium of miracles. Prayer is the best armour against all trials. God doesn’t move in your Life when you struggle; he moves when you pray. Prayer is the most effective medicine against sickness.

The streaming wounds of Jesus are the sure guarantees for answered prayers. Your soul needs prayer like your lungs need air. Prayer is your personal key to heaven. The easiest way to develop a prayer lifestyle is to book your day with prayer. It is the key that unlocks all doors.

One day, a young boy asked an old man: “Sir, which is the best day to pray? The wise old man replied: My son, the best day to pray is the day before you die. “The boy was astonished and replied: “Sir how can I know the day of my death? And the old man answered: “No one knows the day of his death, that’s why we need to pray every day.”

There is no need to get to a place of prayer, pray wherever you are. Prayer is a strong wall and fortress of the church. Prayer is not asking. It is daily admission of one’s weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart. Prayer is the best weapon we can possess. It is the key that opens the heart of God. The more praying there is in the world, the better that world will be.

Work as if everything depended upon work and pray as if everything depended upon prayer. God may not answer the prayers we want but always answers the prayers we need. Prayer can do anything that God can do. God speaks to those who take time to listen and he listens to those who take time to pray. Faith and prayer are the vitamins of the soul; man cannot live in health without them. God, our creator, has stored within our minds and personalities, great potential strength and ability. Prayer helps us tap and develop these powers.

Prayer is the beginning and the end, the source and the fruit, the core and the content, the basis and the goal of all peacemaking. Prayer doesn’t change things it changes us. If we are diligent in seeking God, slowly and surely we become better people. Prayer is the most concrete way to make our home in God. Pray is the nearest approach to God. Our prayers do make a difference. Prayer is the key to all treasures of this life.

We use pray when we need something, but praying s also for giving thanks for all your blessings. Today as you pray, remember that God’s timing is often different than ours. Prayer exercises your willpower and gives God authority to work in your life. Meditation and prayer are one of the most efficient tools we can use to inspire our world.
