In our childhood times, we thought that the Heavenly Father is very strict and punishes sinners. Our thoughts were changed when we become adults.
This change was happened due to the wonderful story of the Prodigal Son. His father has rejoiced when his lost son is found. What led our childhood and adult thoughts on Father differently?
It is natural to see that our childhood thoughts were influenced by the discipline of our parents on us. These disciplines were very important as they helped us to live in the right direction. Our adult thoughts are different because God wants us to treat our neighbors just like the father of the prodigal son.
It is not an easy to treat neighbors with love who did wrong to us but we need to forgive and forget their past wrongdoings. Eventually, we will live in peace. They will forgive and forget the wrongdoings of other people who hurt them. It shows that we spread the love of God efficiently.
