The honor was conferred on Professor Sr. Alice Chacko fma on October 28, 2022 during a ceremony exclusively held at Indian Society for Spreading Christian Knowledge (ISPCK), Delhi.
Responding to the award: Professor Alice Chacko reaffirmed: “Come let us journey together into our common home is a timely response to the passionate appeal of Pope Francis to take care of our common home to the entire human family.”
Prof Alice mentioned the real state of our common home, “We are all brothers and sisters and we have the responsibility to upkeep creation. The logic of this book from knowledge to love, from love to caring. I began the book with the ‘Sun’, we know what the sun is all about, this acquaintance will lead us to love the sun and to do our very best to ensure that it is cared for.”
