“Now O Lord, you can dismiss your servant in peace, for you have fulfilled your word and my eyes have seen your salvation.” Today we celebrate the feast of the presentation of the Lord. Jesus was presented to God as it was part of the law. God fulfils his word that was given to Simeon.
God assures us that he would always fulfil his plan that he made before creating us. Each of us is sent with a purpose. The purpose is always connected to God and our fellow human beings. Men in the ages have invented many robots and other machinery but nothing so far that goes beyond his commend or takes control of the man who invented it.
So, the invention remains always inferior to the master. So do we have to remain inferior to God which means submit our life to him and allowing him to decide what is best in our life. Let us take the example of Jesus in surrendering his life completely to God even at the cost of dying on the cross.
