Workers of the World, Disperse! – Corona Max

By Fr. K. J. Antony, SDB –

This is your new philosopher Corona Max speaking on the ‘Workers’ Day. I don’t just speak philosophy; I do it. My action is as fast as an atom bomb, and my destruction is equally effective. I have been thrown at your clock tower in your Global village. Now I have made your time stand still.

This time I do not need my brother philosopher Fretting Shingles to speak out. I alone am sufficient.

I am yet to know how I was born. May be I was born of Capitalist communism, if there be a name for the prevailing system of you, humans. I wonder at you humans. You are able to achieve the same thing under differing philosophies of Capitalism or Communism: destruction and deterioration. All of you practically have the R&D department. I understand it very well to be the Research & Destruction department. I am happy to say, it’s my fertility centre.

I am proud of my fantastic intervention in human history. I call it intervention because I am kind by my unkindness. Yes, I am a paradox. The most negative word today as some of you say is being positive. It’s true. In my tests, for example, your victory is when you score negative. However, you humans seem to live in a world more paradoxical than I do.

Yes. I am kind by my unkindness. My threats have woken up the philosophers in you. Imagine the loads of philosophical statements floating around in your chats and Whatsapp groups. However, did you realize, I have made you all, to start, to think. I am on the way to restoring your dignity by my threats. I am on the way to reestablishing earth’s dignity by stopping your ‘freedom’ to plunder and destroy.

You started ‘thinking’ because you knew I will shorten your short life. You started thinking because you became deprived of your freedom. Now you are deprived of your work, your food, your health, and your comfort.

You ran back to your villages that I may not catch you. You went back to places with less population density where you will not be close to each other. I have proved to you that being a single global village can be treacherous and that an earth’s globe with many villages is safer.

Most of you have been workers under someone. You have been slogging for them day and night. You are the ones who have been upholding all their holdings. All their enterprises have now crumbled. It was all because you ran away to save yourself from me, me an invisible philosopher. I am proud about it.

Workers of the World, Disperse. This is my new philosophy for you. I, Corona Max, am a philosopher in action. I said; you did it. You all dispersed. You stopped being workers at least for sometime. I am a redeemer for you. You have been freed at least for a while from your slavery to working for the corporates. But I am only sad that you’ll soon resume your idiocy of enslaving yourself soon after the lockdown.

Realize my dear human. Take me as a form of good in the form of evil. Yes, I am a paradox. My teaching is hard-hitting so that you’ll live a dignified life. My actions are evil, yet my intentions good. I kill some, and threaten others so that you will have a greener life and a greener world.

I teach you again: Workers of the World, Disperse. First of all stop being Workers of the World. And you do not need to unite to fight against the Master-Monster you yourselves had created. Stop making the rich richer. Stop your mind from the communism of your mind to produce for your nation, a nation which would exist only in a few ruling dictators. Stop working for the communists. Stop working for the capitalists who desire exponential doubling of their capital and not that of yours.

You just did it right at my threat. Run back to your villages. Yes, return to your villages. Be there. Develop your villages. Do not abandon them. Make them greener. You have been building cities to build only some people. The whole universe looks at the earth and finds your cities on the globe all red, erupted like shingles on the face of the earth. The undeveloped villages have become dry and psoriatic.

Change your education system. Educate yourself to dispersed living. Be a dignified worker. Be a master of yourself. Do not attempt to qualify yourself to become an enslaving master as power-hungry monsters do. Do not attend schools so that you’ll ‘get’ employment, and become another slave. Work for yourself. Work for your village. Work for a living, and a real living at that: not for dreams, not for nationalistic utopias.

I am a virus; I am Corona Max. Yes, I am a little bigger than an atom. And when my power is unleashed I am as equally as effective as a bomb. You saw it. Some humans probably unleashed my malevolence out of their greed to conquer the world, to become a superpower. Do not allow that to happen again. Yet I have done my duty of killing so many of you. I am sorry about that. Protect yourself from me. I am not to blame. I am inert. Instead, you humans are evil. That’s why you look at me as evil.

Yet I am just a dead particle until you humans make me alive again. Don’t come closer again in cities to build a globe of slavery. Stop being Workers of the World. Disperse. Let not another human control you. Learn to live free. Throw your old philosophical scripts out. Burn them. Learn my new philosophy: Disperse.

Go back human to your villages. Enjoy your starry sky; swimming pools, lakes and ponds, built not within a five-starred hotel but amidst a million star horizon. Eat fresh. Eat green. Live clean. Believe. Let the Creator of us all take control.
